Common questions about choosing a stick

What flex do I select?

Flexes are available from 20-60

To determine the flex for your child all you need to know is your child's weight and height.

Take your child's weight and cut it in half, if they are a newer player you could go with even lower.

For example: a child that weighs 60 pounds would at most need a 30 flex, or if they are new to the sport then a 20 flex would also be appropriate.

When standing upright in skates, your child's new stick should come up somewhere between their chin and their nose - individual preference may vary but this is a general rule of thumb.

See our stick length specs below.

What curve do I select?

P28 - an aggressive toe curve that is great for sniping and getting in close to pull off the fancy moves.

P92- a great overall consistent curve for beginners.
